Baby's First..

After five grapefruits, each of them significantly better than the last, it was time to move on. I did my first REAL tattoo on Jan 6! It was my boyfriend's first tattoo that he has received, so it was pretty awesome.

I've challenged myself quite a bit for my first one. There's quite a bit of detail and shading. I used a 3 round for the lining, which I had to go over a few times to thicken it up, and a 7 mag for the shading. It's not finished yet, there's still some colour and filling in to do, but it still looks awesome unfinished! So in a few weeks I'll have Troy back on the bed for some more work, that poor boy, heh heh.

There is a whole line up of people that want to get tattoos, so there will be frequent updates on that in the near future. I just need to order the rest of my equipment so I can start practicing on people more. Then it's just the long wait until the Tattoo Convention rolls by so I can take my cross contamination course. I guess, by the end of the year, I should be a working tattoo artist! That is my life dream coming true right there. I can't wait to feel what that feels like!
