As you can probably already guess, I easily get frustrated with things, especially technology that doesn't work. I find it funny that we rely on such things when they seem to cause us more agony and frustration than ease. Then again, what would we do without technology? A couple of weeks ago there was a blackout in my neighborhood for almost 2 hours. My mom and I sat on the couch with a few candles and a flashlight, unable to do anything to pass the time except to sit an wait. It's times like those where you realize how much we depend on technology and electricity for the simplest of things. Our apartment was pitch black, so there really wasn't much we could do. It was too dark to read or work on art, so we just sat and listened to everyone else wandering out in the streets trying to figure out what was going on. Not like they had anything better to do either.
It is just weird to think about. What if we never had technology? Our world would be almost alien compared to what it is to us now. I know sometimes I say I hate it, but I really don't know what I would do without it. So, sorry computer, but I'm going to have to replace you because you are so old. It's been fun and all!
