Vancouver Adventure: Day 4

I'm alive, I swear! I have just been preoccupied I guess, so here I am, forcing myself to continue posting about my Vancouver trip, which took place almost two weeks ago. Day 4!

On Saturday we got up early to go to Gastown and meet Kyle at his work, and we all went to the aquarium. My friend Krista from home, who now lives in Vancouver, met us there because she has never been. I know, right!? Crazy. So yeah, we saw lots of sweet marine life, and some non-marine life, including a raccoon!!! One of the things I was looking forward to the most about this trip! We only saw one the entire time, but at least I saw one. It was so cute! We followed it up the path, and it led us to the bus stop. Thanks raccoon!

After the aquarium, we had planned on going out to a pub in Gastown called the Blarney Stone. But it was a hockey game night, and we were expecting a huge attendance. So we went anyways, but waited in line and realized that a) it was going to take forever and b) there were going to be so many people in there that we would practically be smooshed into guacamole. So! Dinner at Earl's was our next option. But we had to walk 100 000000000000 miles to get there! I was just being a wuss, because we had been walking all day and my legs felt like the were screwing off their hinges. But we got there, after stopping off at a delicious chocolate and candy apple store. Yum! And after we met up with Kyle's friends at a gelato cafe, where I bought a delicious marshmallow. I know its weird that I would have just bought one marshmallow, but trust me, it was decadent.

And that pretty much concludes day 4, and that's all I have time for today. Maybe I'll post about day 5 tonight. Or tomorrow, or the next day. I'm a rebel with no schedule!
