Vancouver Adventure: Day 2 & 3

Moving onto day 2 of my Vancouver vacation!

Not much was done this day, we mostly stayed in because Erin was getting her cable hooked up. So to entertain ourselves, like most girls do, we did our nails! But not just any plain nail colour, ooooh no! I bought this sweet new stuff called Shatter by OPI, and it kicks any other nail polish in the nuts! First, you paint the base colour, then you put this stuff on, and watch the magic happen. It just crackles and looks like shattered nail polish. SO COOL! Then after that we spent a good amount of time playing around with Photo booth, and we made nachos for lunch before Erin had to run off to an interview. Good times!

Later that night, Erin and I decided to go back to Granville and Robson to do some more shopping. We stopped by an awesome tattoo/piercing shop called Adrenaline (which is where I was planning on getting my tattoo done at, but it never happened. I'm a chicken.). I somehow spent $100 there, and I ate delicious crape at Crape Cafe (we need one here! Ugh, so good!). And that was basically day 2!

Nachooos!

Fry-stache!

Fry-smile!

Nutella, almonds, strawberries, and whipped cream. Yum!

Shattered nails

Day 3 rolled around, which is the day that Erin had to go to her now-current-job to talk to some people, so we had some time to spare before then. Why not go to Granville Island!? And so we did! I spent a good amount of time there last time I was in Vancouver, but I never went to the toy shop. So we spent most of our time there, looking at all the cool little shops and toys, and the weird old arcade. Which is where I was reunited with an old Godzilla game I remembered as a kid! I haven't seen it since, so I was very excited. Time was running out, so we skimmed through the market and headed back.

The evening of day 3 was when I got to see my friend Kat! Erin and I ventured to her work (a sound production company. Yeah, my friends are cool!!!) and we played video games in the theatre there. It was such a cool place. Kat has had the pleasure of meeting Evangeline Lilly, David Suzuki, and most of the cast of Endgame. Pretty freakin cool!

And that pretty much concludes days 2 and 3!

On our way to Granville Island

Spring..

Yup, it's definitely spring!

Erin, illuminated by the neon lights of a Vietnamese restaurant!

The theatre at Kat's work. That is some expensive shit.

Ah yes, and Erin dropped Kyle's toothbrush in the toilet..
