First of all, let me start off with how it ended. I flew home around 7:30 pm, and Erin waited at the airport wit me for awhile, just so we could hang out a little longer. I was fine, up until we had to say goodbye, and then it hit me. The tears just started flowing, I couldn't stop them! And I looked at Erin and neither could she! It reminded me of having to say goodbye to her when she moved to Vancouver, and that was just one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. So off I went, through the screen section crying, to the departure gate crying, and on the plane fighting tears. I must have looked crazy, or like someone who just lost their dog, cause it was non-stop. But that's what happens when you say goodbye to your best friend! Then I arrived at home, walked through the door to my room, hugged my cat and started bawling. My mom woke up to greet me, and I had to explain to her that I was just so happy to be home, but sooo sad to leave such a beautiful city, and such amazing friends behind. I am still a little emotional, I will start crying when I think about it, so I will just continue with an abridged version of my week.
We did so much everyday that it is so hard to even think about what we did and when. We got up at at least 9 every morning, and walked around for at least 6 hours everyday, so we got a lot done! Including exercise! I literally had no time to blog because we were out and about the majority of the day, and well, I would be sleeping at night. You know, like most people do. Actually, now that I think of it, I'm going to switch it up a bit. Instead of trying to quickly explain everyday in one post, I'm going to make a separate post for every day or two, just to make it less confusing. Take that, blog! I'm too lazy to type a week's worth of adventure! So...here we go!
Day one, I arrived in Vancouver at 9:30 am, and I was like an excited little 5 year old going to Disneyland (yes, that stoked!). I sped walked to the baggage claim where Erin was waiting for me. And there she was! And there I was! Being my first flight all by myself, I was pretty darn proud, and actually being in Vancouver was an even more amazing feeling. So, my bag finally came, and then we were off to Erin's humble abode. And what a humble little abode it is! But I was more excited to meet her new cat (aka child), Gambit! I now officially have a fairly wide gallery of cat photos of my iphone. And they're not even all my cats. Anyways, this cat is as cute as a baby's bum (actually, WAAAY cuter!).
After getting well acquainted with Gambit via laser pointer, we set off to meet Erin's boyfriend Kyle downtown and walked along Broadway to do some shopping and whatnot. It rained a lot this day, it was actually the coldest day that week, so we went home soon after to nap and warm up. Erin and I then went back downtown to go see Your Highness (which, by the way, is one of the most vulgar movies I have ever seen! Yeesh!), and finally went home to sleep. Ahhh, sleep...
Then came day 2, but I'm too tired right now to type, so I will spare you the bland post and spelling mistakes! That will come tomorrow! Now I get to sleep in my own bed, with my own cat, but I will dream of waking up back in lovely Vancouver.
*Blogger won't let me upload photos right now, so you will have to wait! Grrr!*
